I recently purchased the Zooz Z-Wave Plus Q-Sensor ZSE11 Motion Temp Humidity Light from The Smartest House and I'm very impressed. It was a great price and arrived quickly.
The sensor is easy to set up and use. It detects motion, temperature, humidity, and light, which is a great all-in-one solution for my smart home. I also appreciate that it can be powered by batteries or a USB cable, so I have flexibility in where I can place it.
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. The sensor is well-made and works great, and The Smartest House offered a great price and fast shipping. I would definitely recommend this product to others.
Pros:
Great price
Fast shipping
Easy to set up and use
Detects motion, temperature, humidity, and light
Can be powered by batteries or a USB cable
Cons:
I haven't found any cons yet!
All the Zooz products I have used and continue to use for the last 4 years are Excellent. My only wishes they would make more. The Z-Wave stick has performed flawlessly.
This little device provides temperature, humidity, illuminance, and motion sensing. I really like that it can be operated with batteries or with a cord.
I have two suggestions for the next version:
1. I would prefer using a USB-C cable. It is 2024. USB-C was introduced all the way back in 2016.
2. Use a different battery type. CR123A is kind of a "special order" battery.
Integrated with Hubitat and it is working well
I purchased the ZSE11800LR to replace an AEON Labs sensor that was always very inaccurate and therefor difficult to trigger events. The Q Sensor was easy to add to my HomeSeer network. Since it was plugged into usb power I had to go to Zooz’s website to get advanced reporting parameters to set 60s interval over the default 4hrs which was not included in the printed material. Seems very accurate out of the box
